The Atlas Moth
The Atlas Moth est un groupe de post-metal de Chicago, formé en 2007. Le magazine Pitchfork a décrit son mélange de styles comme un « heavy metal résolument aventureux ».
Discographie
Après deux premières sorties en 2008, Hope for Atlantis (Witch Trial Records) et Pray for Tides, le groupe publie son premier album, A Glorified Piece of Blue-Sky, chez Candlelight en 2009, suivi de The One Amongst the Weed Fields (2010). Il rejoint ensuite Profound Lore pour An Ache for the Distance (2011), puis The Old Believer (2014). Un split avec Wolvhammer sort en 2013 chez Init. Coma Noir paraît en 2018 chez Prosthetic Records.
La formation actuelle réunit Stavros Giannopoulos, David Kush et Andrew Ragin aux guitares, Alex Klein à la basse et Mike Miczek à la batterie.
